Hi, we're Chris and Charity. After 25 years of marriage and raising four incredible daughters together, we've learned that the best moments in life happen when you slow down enough to notice them. That's exactly what we want to offer you here at The Cabins at Wheat Ridge Farm.
A Farm With Roots
Wheat Ridge Farm was started more than 100 years ago by Charity's grandfather, and it has stayed in her family ever since. Generations of birthdays, harvests, quiet mornings, and starry nights have happened on this soil. A few years ago, we started dreaming about a way to share it, not the busy version of Montana, but the version we know: the one with elk in the fields at dawn and skies so big they make your shoulders drop. That dream became The Cabins at Wheat Ridge Farm.
What You'll Find Here
Our first three cabins sit on a gentle hill with sweeping views of the Bridger and Tobacco Root Mountains. On clear nights, you can see Bozeman twinkling softly in the distance, close enough to visit, far enough to forget. Each cabin was built with care to feel warm, modern, and unmistakably Montana: comfortable beds, a real fireplace, a kitchen that invites long dinners, and porches made for lingering. Every cabin has its own personality, but they all share one job, to help you exhale.
In November, your evenings get even better. Step off the back deck onto a private stone patio, built around a large gas firepit and surrounded by new landscaping designed to make this feel like your own corner of Montana. After a day on the slopes or the trail, lower into your private hot tub and let the mountain air and the stars finish the day for you. This is not a place you visit and leave unchanged. Cabin was clean and easy to get to with the instructions from Chris. Everything you need was provided, snacks, coffee and plenty of linens. Chris was very responsive and always available for questions. Would definitely recommend!

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in, loved the cabin and the beautiful surroundings. Within 90 minutes of both the north and west Yellowstone entrances. If only there wasn’t so much to do in the area would have loved to stick around and enjoyed the place more! Absolutely hope to be back

Your place was perfect for our stay. It was so clean. There were so many thoughtful additions, from the fresh eggs, to the welcome sign, to the fire to enjoy the great view on a fall evening. We even saw a few deer in the field. We will definitely stay here again when we visit family.

The setting is everything you would want if you are wanting to avoid the hustle/bustle of downtown Bozeman and enjoy and peacful setting in the hills of Montana with great views of the mountains and still close enough to Four Corners and Bozeman to enjoy it all. The cabins are new and beautifully built. Can't recommend enough.
