The Lazy Bear Cabin - Cabin #1 ADA
A romantic Montana hideaway where simple luxury meets mountain views, quiet nights, and Yellowstone adventures
Where you'll be
Getting around
If you are visiting between late fall and early spring, an AWD or 4WD vehicle is a great choice for your Montana trip. The county road to the farm is plowed regularly and well maintained, so getting to the cabin is straightforward. Where AWD or 4WD really shines is on the drives you will want to take while you are here, from morning runs to Bridger Bowl and Big Sky to trailheads, fishing access points, and the scenic backroads that make this part of Montana so special. If you are flying in and renting a vehicle, it is worth requesting one when you book.

Guests have access to the entire cabin
We are always a quick message away to answer questions or help you with anything that you may need.
You will want a vehicle for this trip. We are close to everything, but you'll need your own wheels to explore Bozeman, Big Sky, and the surrounding country. AWD or 4WD is recommended in the winter months.
The cabin is brand new and the landscape and hardscape surrounding the cabin is still a work in progress. Our 5 year plan for the entire property is pretty amazing and our hope is that our early first time guests like you will become repeat visitors and witness the progress first hand. We will have special offers available for returning guests - please message us for details.
Because the land surrounding the cabins is a working farm we have a VERY STRICT NO PET POLICY. This does include emotional support animals. We have family members with very severe pet allergies that will also stay in the cabins throughout the year.

Cutest place! So cozy! My parents stayed

We could not have picked a better place to stay for our trip. We wanted a place between Bozeman and Big Sky that truly felt like we were *in* Montana, and this hit the mark. It was private, peaceful, and included everything we could’ve needed. Our hosts were responsive and very helpful. Incredible experience!

My Family and & I really enjoyed Chris's place. It was close to downtown Bozeman MT but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Inside was a full kitchen with everything you needed to make home cooked meals. The small touches that Chris and his family added to the place made all the difference. It was wonderful to meet Chris also, as we had left over meatballs and sauce my wife cooked. Excellent Host and looking forward to staying here again with my family. Thanks for the memories.

If you're looking for the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy breathtaking Montana views, look no further. This cabin is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. Everything was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell how much care the hosts put into every detail-from the personalized welcome sign and farm-fresh eggs to the snack basket, toiletries, and even a thoughtful "forgot something?" basket. Their communication was wonderful from start to finish. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I honestly got some of the best sleep I've ever had at an Airbnb thanks to the soft pillows and cozy blankets. The peaceful location was perfect while still being a short drive to great food, Big Sky, and Yellowstone. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return. If you're visiting Montana, this is the cabin to book!

Chris was so kind and caring. We have traveled through all 50 states, and this house was thoughtfully furnished, welcoming and had extra touches such as… A personalized welcome sign… a snack and goody basket… a bathroom “did you forget something basket” AND a half dozen farm fresh eggs. Our favorite spot was the large deck, where we enjoyed beautiful thunderstorms , 4th of July fireworks, deer and quail. I highly recommend this house to everyone who wants to get away from it all.

This place was amazing! Waking up every morning to the view of the mountains was incredible. The house itself was great for my wife and I and our friends that came with us. It was a short distance to downtown Bozeman and close to anything you could need. That fire place every morning and night was 11/10. If we get the chance to come back to Montana, I know where we are staying!

This listing was the perfect retreat for us during a very busy graduation weekend. From farm fresh eggs on our arrival to the spare toiletries and extra waters in the fridge, everything was available and perfect.
